Security officers across US show support for hundreds of Paraguayan officers fired during lawful strike for better pay
Last week marked the 4th anniversary of the massive firing of hundreds of Paraguayan officers by one of the largest security companies in Latin America—Prosegur. The 327 officers were participating in a lawful strike over wages and safety demands.

The company’s conduct during negotiations and in the firings are subject of ongoing complaints with the International Labor Office (ILO) and Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
Security officers and allies across the globe are denouncing this violation of human rights and expressing solidarity with the Prosegur officers by using the hashtag #justiciaenprosegur so social media sites.
