“We brought everybody up with this new contract. Nobody was left behind. My company doesn’t provide a retirement plan, so for me, the extra money will help me save for retirement.” – SEIU6 Union Security Officer Demetrus Dugar

The four-year union contract includes FIVE pay increases—count ‘em, FIVE pay increases.

Officers also won job protections, three-weeks paid vacation for officers with ten years seniority, and a three-day requirement for companies to resolve wage and hour issues.

Awesome job Seattle!
